CLIENT: Paragon Creative

Rutters worked closely with the design team at Paragon Creative to create a series of 10 replica Heraldic flags 8ft x 5ft to adorn the battlements and keeps at England’s best known castle in Dover. Using a mixture of printing and appliqué these flags with their swags and tails bring a vibrancy to the stone walls and celebrate all that is good in this pleasant isle.
The Enchanted Palace
Graphics forming the background of a series of display cabinets and a wallpapered wall have been printed and installed by Rutters at Kensington Palace. Measuring 3m x 2m, were printed on a self-adhesive with a matt seal protection and the 3m x 3m wallpaper printed on Raffa canvas. Rutters completed the job within 10 days from receipt of artwork.

To promote the “Aware” exhibition at the Royal Academy in London, the designer decided to ‘dress’ the street-side pillars to the main entrance with 10 different graphics reflecting the main sections within exhibit. These were printed onto vinyl coated polyester with corset flaps to hide the elasticated and eyeletted fixings. Each graphic measured 5m high x 1.5m circumference, Rutters worked closely with Global Erection Sign Services, one of many such collaborative projects.

The Cromwell Museum has a wonderful collection of artefacts and displays which must be protected from damaging sunlight. Five different designs, featuring heraldic imagery, were created for curtains measuring 3.5m W x 6m H. Rutters printed them onto blackout material finished with weighted hem and eyelets.

Panels for Norsey Wood information centre, 9 large images which were printed, matt sealed and mounted onto 12mm MDF panels and 10 images printed onto digital canvas wrap mounted onto plywood panels. These were installed by Rutters in the Interpretation Area with specialist lighting circuits in the ceiling to highlight the displays.
