Rutters produced a total of 48 Foamex panels to create a series of children’s murals for the harrowing sci-fi action film ‘Children of Men’. The story describes a bleak world in 2027.

Rutters were proud to be represented on stage with Berwick’s Dame Betty Turpin wearing a dress made of a fabric printed by us.

This stunning Translight required location photography (see the Photography + Manipulation section of this website). Rutters also produced the Perspex portraits of the Tracey Island characters displayed on the wall of their HQ together with the 25′ x 8′ mural printed on Digital Canvas.

Rutters was awarded the contract. The carpet, which measured 5.4m x 7.55m, was delivered to Shepperton Studios in two weeks.

The highly realistic shelves of books are in fact photobackings of which Rutters produced fifty 8′ x 4′ prints.
